TECNO showcased its latest smartphones, laptops and connected devices at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 in Berlin. TECNO has showcased a concept smartphone featuring a display with what it describes as an industry-first 0mm border, in a development aimed at eliminating the visible black edges between a phone’s screen and outer frame. The Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone was among the technologies displayed by the company at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 in Berlin, Germany, alongside new laptops, smartphones and other connected devices. The company said the development seeks to create a more immersive viewing experience by allowing the active display to extend visually to the edges of the handset. According to TECNO, the concept brings together several technologies covering the display, camera integr...

KEPRO Chief Executive Officer James Odongo said while there had been an increase in the number of manufacturers registering with Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs), many businesses were yet to translate registration into actual compliance and meaningful action. “There is incremental uptake of EPR. Manufacturers are registering with Producer Responsibility Organisations, but registration does not always translate into compliance. We have made progress, but there is still work to be done to build a syste...
